Pear and Craisin Salad

Salads don’t have to be all veggies… toss some fall fruit into it. 🙂

First though, you’ll need to turn your cranberries into craisins. I found this tutorial to be very helpful: How to Make Craisins.

All you need to do is place sliced pears and craisins on top of a bed of leaf or romaine lettuce and call it a day. I find serving this with a balsamic or raspberry vinaigrette to be most appealing. If you have some almonds, walnuts or pecans, toss them on top too.
