Let’s Get the Thanksgiving Preparation Started

It’s that TIME! Doing a little prep work each week starting NOW will save you big on the Holiday. If you’re looking for some new recipes or suggestions this Thanksgiving, look no further. Our guide should help even the busiest person stay on schedule. 🙂

Here’s what we suggest you do this week:
1. Make Pumpkin Puree (if you haven’t cooked your pumpkin(s) yet) and freeze what you do not use immediately.
2. Prepare and freeze Pumpkin Dinner Rolls (using your pumpkin puree)
3. Prepare and freeze Apple Pie or Cranberry-Apple Crumb Pie (using the apples and/or cranberries from this week or previous)

Here’s what we suggest you do next week:
1. Prepare and freeze/refrigerate Mulled Wine Cranberry Sauce or Cranberry Orange Sauce (using cranberries and oranges from this week or previous)
2. Prepare and freeze the Green Bean Casserole
3. Prepare and freeze the Pear and Apricot Tart
4. Finish the pies/dinner rolls if you didn’t get to them last week.

Here’s what we suggest you do the week of Thanksgiving:
1. Prepare the Turkey, this way or that.
2. Make the Sweet Potato Casserole
3. Make the Southern Baked Corn Casserole or Roasted Corn Pudding in Acorn Squash
4. Make the Stuffing: Apple and Cranberry Stuffing,  Mom’s Turkey Stuffing Recipe , Traditional Vegan Stuffing Vegetarian Stuffing or Southern Italian Thanksgiving Stuffing Recipe
5. Prepare your favorite table salad
6. Prepare the gravy
7. Prepare the Perfect Mashed Potatoes, Fluffy Mashed Potatoes, Garlic and Olive Oil Mashed Potatoes, Creamy Mashed Potatoes, French Mashed Potatoes with Cheese and Garlic, Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes
8. Need another Green Bean Dish? Try these: Roasted Green Beans with Red Onions and Walnuts, Green Bean Amandine
9.  Prepare Pumpkin Pie or Pumpkin Cheesecake (using your pumpkin puree)
10. Want another dessert? Consider this Apple Upside Down Cake
