Homemade Pea Soup

You’ll Need:

A large soup pot (I bought mine at Wal-Mart for less than $15. It’s stainless steel and light. Nothing fancy, but it works.)
10 cups of water
8 cups of frozen peas
3 tomatoes, chopped
6 carrots, chopped
4-5 potatoes, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, whole
2-3 bay leaves
salt (as desired)
garlic powder (approx 2 tsp or as desired)
onion powder (approx 2 tsp or as desired)

Add water, 6 cups of peas, tomatoes, 3 carrots, onion, garlic, salt, and powders into the pot. Boil for 30-45 minutes. Remove from heat and mash vegetables. Put the pot back on the stove and add remaining ingredients. Bring the broth to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender. Serve your finished soup when ready to finish your soup.
